Science fiction and technology

Arrival is a movie that talks about technology, but not in a virtual way. It talks about language and how this instrument of technology determines the way we understand all most everything, and how a new language can change our perceptions.
I believe that technology it's something that help us to communicate, not only with another people, but also with thing. It help us to understand things, how they work and what can we do with them; in the movie the new language gives you a new way of perceive time, and I thing like, if this instrument can determine the way we see life, then technology itself determines everything right now, we live in technology and we move thanks to it.
So, for me technology is everything around us, and we are it's biggest achievement, because we're the ones that makes it possible, that built the bases for its growth.
